Want to come Sailing?
OK, How do I get on the water?
There is no need to book ahead for sailing, but if you have special requirements or are coming for the first time, it is helpful if we know ahead so that we are prepared for you. Please fill in the participants form and email it to sailability@ allaboardwatersports.co.uk. Please see form below:

Please bring as carer if you require personal care assistance.
Sailability Sessions
Our Sailability sessions are run by experienced and qualified volunteers. These sessions are designed to enable people with additional support needs to access sailing and to experience the joy of being out on the water. Whether you wish to learn to sail independently or bring a “buddy” to sail with you we can help you on your journey.
Saturday Sessions
We run most Saturday mornings from April to October (please see date below) and we run from the quayside outside the Cottage Pub next to All Aboard. On arrival please make your way to the desk beside the flagpole and one of our volunteers will welcome you.
We offer sailing in adapted dinghies, both single and double handed as well as more traditional boats like our Drascombe Lugger and our Devon Day boat, where we can cater for small groups.
In addition to the adapted sailing boats we have Oxford hoists to enable those with little mobility to easily and safely get into the dinghies. If you require hoisting and have your own sling we would encourage you to bring that with you for your own comfort. In addition we can supply buoyancy aids and waterproof clothes if required.
These sessions run ever week on Saturdays from 20th April to 26th October, 2024 10.30 am to 12.30 pm If you would like to attend please email sailability@ allaboardwatersports.co.uk of your attendance and bring a complete registration form with you. We ask for a donation of £8 per participant, carer goes free. Siblings are welcome, we appreciate a donation for their attendance.
Tuesday Sessions
These are book only sessions, and we need to agree a time prior to the day. To book, please email [email protected]. Our Tuesday Sailability sessions are better for participants with Learning Disabilities or those who are on the Autistic Spectrum as the sessions are quieter and can accommodate complex needs.
We offer sailing in adapted dinghies, both single and double handed as more traditional boats like our Drascombe Lugger and our Devon Day boat, where we can cater for small groups.
