Please be aware that Sailing is weather dependent and we reserve the right to cancel at any time if we consider the conditions are unsuitable.

Sailability Sessions

Our Sailability sessions are run by experienced and qualified volunteers. These sessions are designed to enable people with additional support needs to access sailing and to experience the joy of being out on the water. Whether you wish to learn to sail independently or bring a “buddy” to sail with you we can help you on your journey.

Saturday Sessions

We run most Saturday mornings from April to October (please see date below) and we run from the quayside outside the Cottage Pub next to All Aboard. On arrival please make your way to the desk beside the flagpole and one of our volunteers will welcome you.
We offer sailing in adapted dinghies, both single and double handed as well as more traditional boats like our Drascombe Lugger and our Devon Day boat, where we can cater for small groups.

In addition to the adapted sailing boats we have Oxford hoists to enable those with little mobility to easily and safely get into the dinghies. If you require hoisting and have your own sling we would encourage youpicture of man being hoisted into access boat with support to bring that with you for your own comfort. In addition we can supply buoyancy aids and waterproof clothes if required.

These sessions run ever week on Saturdays from 2nd April to 28th October at 10.00 – 12.00pm. If you would like to attend please email [email protected] allaboardwatersports.co.uk of your attendance and bring a complete registration form with you. We ask for a donation of £6 per participant, carer goes free. Siblings are welcome, we appreciate a donation for their attendance.

Tuesday Sessions

We run an accessible after-school club on Tuesdays during term-time. The sessions start from 3pm – 6pm. Our Tuesday Sailability sessions are better for participants with Learning Disabilities or those who are on the Autistic Spectrum as the sessions are quieter and can accommodate complex needs.

We offer sailing in adapted dinghies, both single and double handed as more traditional boats like our Drascombe Lugger and our Devon Day boat, where we can cater for small groups. We have a habourside hoist to support those with limited movement to easily and safely transfer into the boats. We run from the quayside outside the Cottage Pub next to All Aboard. On arrival please make your way to the flagpole at the back of our centre and one of our volunteers will welcome you. We ask for a donation of £6 per participant, carer goes free. Siblings are welcome, we appreciate a donation for their attendance.  Please see the dates below.

If you would like to talk to Brian in person about attending the Tuesday Sailability sessions , please ring 07989216720, or email [email protected]
