Peter Truss

Peter has been an All Aboard Volunteer since 2017, discovering the opportunity to provide his disabled daughter sailing experience on a regular basis in a safe and supported environment through AAW’s Sailability programme.

Having developed expertise and practical knowledge in manual handling, hoisting and associated regulations, Peter is a qualified trainer in this area for All Aboard’s volunteers.

Peter became a Trustee in the Spring of 2024, having recently retired from a lifetime working in the international space industry and has many years of practical dinghy sailing experience through membership of local sailing clubs. Within the Trustees Peter is particularly focused on volunteering, safety and safeguarding issues

Andrew Clay

Andrew moved to Bristol in 2017 and joined All-Aboard as a volunteer a few years later following retirement from an international career in finance and management working on four continents and travelling extensively.
Andrew became a trustee in Spring 2024 and whilst having enjoyed different watersports over the years now focuses mainly on rowing. He has other charitable commitments but this is his first trusteeship since being a trustee at Raleigh International 15 years ago.
At All-Aboard Andrew’s main focus will be on finance and volunteering

Karen holds a number of trustee positions that include being Chair of a primary school in a Multi Academy Trust as well as Chair of Resources and Audit in a Single Academy Trust.

This gives Karen a wide range of skills that are beneficial to our Charity

Steve’s skills, his position within the education system and his understanding of what it is like to volunteer for All-Aboard is incredibly useful to our charity and will help us greatly.
