Things to be aware of for Powerability:

  • Please specify if you have a particular powerboat you wish to go on, when booking.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early for your powerboat trips as the boat will leave no later than 5 minutes passed its departure time.
  • If you do not pre-book and turn up on the day, although we will try our best, we cannot promise you will go out on the water, and there may be a long wait.
  • Powerboating is weather dependent and we reserve the right to cancel at any time if we consider the conditions are unsuitable.
  • Please bring as carer if you require personal care assistance.

Saturday Sessions

Accessible Powerboating is run by experienced and qualified volunteers. These Saturday morning sessions are designed to enable people with additional support needs to access powerboating and to experience the joy of being out on the water.

Most of the boats we use are fully wheelchair accessible. Please specify if you require this option when booking. We will run powerboat harbour trips at 10:30am and again at 11:30 am. Please arrive 10 minutes early as the boat will leave no later than 5 minutes passed its departure time. This is to accommodate clients who find waiting difficult, and ensures everyone gets the full time of the powerboat trip. Numbers are limited so we would ask you to book in advance by emailing [email protected].
