Accessible Facilities

At All-Aboard, we welcome watersports users with a range of physical and sensory abilities. Our harbourside site is fully accessible and designed to help make your experience with us the best it can be.

Our adapted fleet

Our powerboats are also adapted for wheelchair use, our Hansa 303 “Access” sailing boats are designed for disable use and do not capsize, and we can fit outriggers to stabilise our paddle craft including kayaks, canoes and paddleboards

Wheelchair access

We have full wheelchair access throughout our centre, a lift, and an accessible toilet. Our downstairs shower wet room has an shower chair and a changing/shower bed and hoist.

We also have full wheelchair access to the water and a hoist to lift those who need it onto the adapted sailing boats.

Guide dogs

We welcome guide dogs onto the premises. We have an RoomMate in our disabled toilets to guide people with visual impairments on their surroundings.

Hearing aids

We do not have hearing loops in the centre due to the magnetic field it emits and the need of some of our clients. However, we do have a personal microphone which the instructor can wear.

Hoists

We have two harbourside hoists available to support those with limited movement onto the boats. If you have your own sling we advise you bring this for your own comfort. We also have bean bags and cushions to support you in the boat.

Quiet space

For individuals who may get overstimulated or need somewhere quiet to go to, we are currently developing a quiet room.

Disable parking

We have 4 disabled parking bays in the Baltic Wharf Water Park car park.
