Enthusiastic paddler? Come and build on your experience and develop new skills and techniques from our experienced and enthusiastic instructors.

Sign up for our six-week Skills Development club and work on a whole range of different skills following the British Canoeing Paddlepower Passport booklet. The Paddlepower Passport is a junior level entry into personal performance awards endorsed by British Canoeing. By completing this award you will be signed off at the end of your 6 week course by your instructor as a competent 1 Star paddler.

This course is run on a Friday Evening during term time from after the Easter Holidays until October half term. Each session costs £14, which includes the cost of the PaddlePower Passport. You must book onto the full 6 weeks to sign to this course.

We are running three, six week courses this year, please find the dates below (please also note that on the booking page you will only see the first date of the 6 week block).

What to bring with you

  • Please wear old clothes as you may get wet
  • A change of clothes/ Towel
  • Swimwear to wear under a wetsuit
  • Appropriate footwear: non -slip, closed toe shoes or trainers that you don’t mind getting wet
  • Warm/ waterproof clothing, including hat and gloves if the weather is cold, wet or windy.
  • Sun cream/sunhat if the weather is sunny and hot
  • A packed lunch if you are on an all-day course or activity
