The RYA Adult Level 1 Course here at All-Aboard, will introduce you to sailing and teach you all that you need to know to get afloat, whilst still under supervision.
Forming the first stage of the RYA beginners’ scheme, this is part of a series of two-day courses that enable you to progress quickly from beginner to expert in a controlled, safe and enjoyable environment.
The course covers how to sail in all directions, including an awareness of launching and recovering. After the course you will be able to sail in light winds, whilst still under supervision.
Please note that this is a two-day course. Each course does however have a 3rd date attached to it. We would advise that you are also available on this date as well as the actual course dates, as if part of the course is cancelled due to unfavourable weather, the customers on the course will only be offered this additional third day (free of charge) to complete the course.
