Would you like to learn a new skill or brush up on existing Sailing or Kayaking skills with some private tuitionThen why not come and join us for a private session with one of our highly experienced instructors! 

These sessions are for up to 2 participants with 1 instructor who will guide you in a private lesson – choose from either sailing (in our Hansa access boats) or kayaking. This session will be tailored around you and any goals that you have, making it a perfect opportunity to finish any British Canoeing or RYA qualifications that you are working on.

These sessions are simple to book, just select your preferred date and time! Each time slot is for up to 2 participants. Once booked you will be asked to email the participant details for the second participant (if you’re having company!) and to confirm your chosen activity (either sailing in our access boats or kayaking).

What to bring with you

COVID-19 Update: Our changing rooms, kitchen, lockers, waterproofs and wetsuits aren’t available at the moment, so please arrive ready and eager!  When you arrive please make your way around to the back of the Centre where you will be met by one of our friendly instructors 🙂 We’ll do our best to make sure your session goes ahead, however if restrictions mean that your session cannot take place then you will be contacted via email to let you know and you’ll be given some of options to think over.

  • Please wear old clothes as they may get wet
  • You may bring a change of clothes and a towel for after your session 
  • Swimwear 
  • Appropriate footwear must be worn, remember that these may get wet.  Open toed footwear is not appropriate.
  • Warm, waterproof clothing, including hat and gloves if the weather is cold, wet or windy.
  • Sun cream and/or sunhat
