All-Aboard is a fully inclusive watersports charity that welcomes everyone. Our activity centre and our entire activity programme is designed with accessibility at its core. If you have any additional needs or requirements and would like to discuss accessing any of our activities or courses, please call our admin team on 0117 929 0801 or click HERE for more information on our specific accessibility programme.

We are running our first ever 50+ Open Day, to kick start the second year of our Come On Board project, which offers you the opportunity to try our fabulous watersport activities in the heart of the Bristol docks and all for free!

The aim of this day is to give as many people as possible the chance to try out the different activities that we offer, visit our centre and meet our instructors, staff and volunteers.

We offer short ‘taster’ sessions in all of our main activities including;

Sailing, Rowing, Kayaking, Guided Walks & Powerboat Trips.

When you arrive, you will have time to fill in your registration form and to enjoy a cup of tea with your instructor. They will talk with you about the activities you have chosen and provide you with the kit and equipment you need to get going.

We have wheelchair accessible boats & powerboats and hoists, so the Sailing and Powerboat sessions are fully accessible. Please be aware that unfortunately we can’t offer all of our sessions as accessible on Open Days due to the high numbers and the shortness of the time slots. We will of course do our best to accommodate you if you do have additional needs. We just ask that you contact us prior to the day, so that we can put in the place the correct support required.

The time slots which will be available on the day are:

13.00 – 13.45 (5 Activities)

14.00 – 14.45 (5 Activities)

15.00 – 15.45 (5 Activities)

16.00 – 17.00 (Refreshments & Forms)

Please arrive 20 minutes before the start of your session to sign in and get into your buoyancy aid.

Thanks to Bristol Ageing Better, our Come On Board sessions are all fully funded and we can provide FREE transport if needed. Contact the office by emailing [email protected] or calling 01179 290801 at the time of booking.

To book simply click on the sport you want to try on the right-hand side of the page and select your preferred time.

*You can try up to two activities on the day. These events are always popular, so we limit the number of activities you can book on to allow more people to be able to attend.
