Unlike rowing you see in the Olympics, Cornish gig rowing uses a six oared rowing boat, which means the boats are much more stable which makes it a perfect relaxed and sociable team sport. With an opportunity to become part of a thriving community of Cornish Gig Rowers in the southwest, this session gives you a taster of a very addictive sport!
All of our sessions are led by friendly, experienced instructors who will show you the ropes, keep you safe and make sure you have a great time. All abilities are welcome, from the very first timers to those who love being out on the water.
